Question Windows LEAKING!!!!

Well both my driver side window and my passanger side windows are leaking from the seal on the exterior of the car that is on my door panel and seals on the glass. I bough 2 new seals from the dealer and put them on yesterday. Well it rains today and both doors are still leaking? ARG! What else can be causing the windows to leak? I can see the water leak because I have the door panels off. Do I have to have the door panels on in order for the windows to seal right.

Thanx
Windy

Hmmm...that's different. Unless the door panel puts more pressure on the glass - which could be - I'm not sure what the problem could be. Especially if you just replaced the seals.

Come to think of it....what difference does it make? Water, moisture, & condensation are going to get inside the doors anyway. The doors have at least one or two holes at the bottom to drain whatever moisture gets inside.

Unless the water is getting under the carpet somehow I doubt you have a serious problem.

yea I understand the water is going to get in the inside but this is alot of water that is pouring through now! Just drop by drop it wets the thing pretty bad I don't think it should be leaking that much! By the way does anyone know the part number from honda for the plastic clips that are on the back side of the door panel that are really easy to break??They clip on to the back of the door panel and go into the metal to provide support to the door panel.

I just checked both of my manuals (Chilton's & Helm's) for the clip part number. Neither one had it in there. Your best bet would be to go to your local Honda dealer & have them check their database for the part number. I'm sure they're not expensive...
