Question power drop to headlights, A/C, dashlights...

i just started noticing this problem with my car.. my headlights, dashlights, and a/c (or heater) seem to experience random power drops. the lights will dim or flicker for a second or two, and the heater/AC will fluctuate as well. what might my problem be?
thanks

Your alternator might be going bad.

Or it might just be a dying battery. Most places will test it for you for free.

i was thinking it had something to do with the alternator - the battery is fairly new (5-6 months).

thanks for the help

My 02 Civic does the same thing...except I thought that the A/c problem was the compressor...I asked my mechanic and he said that he didn't know what else it could be.

one of my lights for a knob on the dash keeps going out, but now it's back on...

And last week one of my headlights went out, and now the other headlight went out last night so I had to use my brights when i was driving home at night...car guys says it's just a coincidence...I'm not so sure.
