Pug 306 HDi

Hi guys, i'm new to the forums.

I'm looking at getting a 306 HDi probably the 'meridian' model with part leather trim

Anyways, i've only heard good things about the HDi engines and was thinking about tuning it up when i get it.

I've heard you can take the 90bhp engine up to around 130bhp without making too many alterations, well thats how the myth goes anyway!

Can anyone tell me if this is true? How could i do it? How much would i be looking to spend?

Thanks in advance.

Re: Pug 306 HDi

Hi,

Welcome on this forum.
The 306Hdi is an excellent car. But I'm not sure that tuning it is necesarely. It'll cost you much, it will fragilized the engine (lower reliability), you'll have problems with your insurance and when you will sell your car.
