Check out my Car Design Web Site

I am new to AutomotiveForums.com. I like every type of car that is built--except maybe mini-vans (although they're practical). Likewise, I enjoy drawing and designing cars. So, take a look at my web site: http://www.geocities.com/cardesignsketches/index.html

Thanks,

Car Dude 77

Wow, those are good.

I like many of them but here are my fav. cars.
s23,s09

I luv that StarWars scene w/ the Death Star in the background.

You have some pretty cool car designs.
How long have you been designing. Are you a professional?

I don't want to run you off but you know there is a car art site dedicated to design. Cannot remember the name I think

http://www.cardesignnews.com/

You may beable to get more technical reviews of your designs there.

I hope you stay here too.

Take care and welcome to the forum

Alfred

wow, that stuff is amazing. i especialy like your 'fantasy' air/ground craft. All the stuff on your other web site is simply phenominal...its hard to describe.

well i hope you dont mind, but your drawings have inspired me to try and do some non-automotive related things...like your futuristic stuff. I'll post it here in a sec. it would be great if you could briefly point out where i've gone wrong.

again, ...amazing.

Thanks to everyone who checked out my web site. I'll try to answer some of the questions some people asked in the previous messages.

I'm not a car designer, but I am a working artist. I've been drawing for a very long time (about 15 years) and in that time I've been interested in car design and drawing cars.

My favorite medium is plain paper and pencil. To sketch with I use a blue Col-Erase pencil (see the sketches at the bottom of my website), but any pencil is good as long as the artist is comfortable with it.

I regularly visit cardesignnews.com, but I'll check out the forums section.

Once again thanks to everyone who visited my website. If you're interested in more artwork I've done there's a link at the bottom of my website to my other website.

wow those pictures are amazing... the cars perspective is great and everything.. but the part that amazes me is how you can color them an have them reflect the light so perfectly... it is easy if you are copying a car but thats simply great ill be as good as u someday... hopefully

I've been making line drawings of cars for many, many years, but I've only been doing marker/pastel work for about four months. I've studied painting and color theory before, but drawing reflections is difficult. I feel my best hope now is to study professionally colored sketches done by real car designers. This kind of material is in abundance on the internet. Also, the guy who does those future forecast mock-ups in Motortrend magazine is inspirational.

Well, I don't do a lot of digital painting--I actually prefer traditional media. I'd say that I do quite a bit of 3-D modeling though.
