Unhappy Fuel gauges on 94 Tbird

Can anyone tell me why the gas gauge would say full while the fuel light says it's empty on a 94 Tbird?

well you'd prolly be better off in the ford forum, but id say that the light is malfunctioning, or the sensor in the gas tank. if you know the gas guage is correct, then just unplug the light in the dash for an easy fix.
