Brahma VS RE XXX

I have a 1998 Dodge dakota Regular cab with buckets out of a durango. I have a opening inbetween where I am going to put a 12" sub. My question Is what Is the better sub for this aplication an Adire Brahma or RE XXX. The box will be custom built and the sub will fire to the rear of the truck. Also what box would be better sealed or ported. Any help would be appreciated.

Re: Brahma VS RE XXX

what amp?

If you'll be using under 1500 I would go for the Brahma, more than that and I would get the XXX

Thanks for all the imput. The amp is 1500 watts x1 at 2ohms and is probubly one of the best amps I can buy in my area. All my friends have had other amps and once they have gone to memphis they never go back. The way it looks the re xxx is what I am going to go with but I might change my mind.

Re: Brahma VS RE XXX

neither the brahma or the xxx can be wired to 2ohm, unless you get them to make you a custom one but that increases the price like $50
