Question not sure what it is

I have a 93 SSEi. here's my problem...

when i start to accelarate from 0 km/h, the car feels like i'm pulling a house, and if i try to give it more gas to get it moving, it feels like i'm hitting the gas for nothing, and it shudders really hard. then it drives ok with shudders here and there when i try to accelarate fast.

I thought it would be the transmission but when i use the trany as a manual one, 1/2/D/OD, still shudders when i try to accelarate fast.

I just got the fuel filter, air filter, spark plugs, oil and trany fluid changed yesterday.

The car feels like i'm it's not getting enough power or that gas isn't running smoothly in the system. (that's my personal feeling)

Any help is very much appreciated.

Thanks

Way too many diferent things could cause this your best bet is to take it to a good shop and have it looked at then you can decide if you want to pay to have it fixed or fix it yourself. The fee charged for this is better than throwing part after part and not fixing it, it will be cheaper this way.

Hey, I had the same issue for about a year. Changed all the cheap stuff and nothing worked. Turns out, I replaced the spark wires and there you have it. They looked fine but were not.

Change your spark wires and see what happens before you spend money on electrical tests.

Re: not sure what it is

The plastic shroud has a tendency to wear through the wires after awhile...also the back plugs are exposed to a lot of exhaust manifold heat..mine had no heat protection at all....

Wire boots on the rear Cyl. bank will help a lot with wear.

A clogged cat may be a problem as well. The engine can't get rid of all the exhaust gasses quick enough, and will stutter.
