I think it's cool, but...

I also think it is inaccurate, and so is the original version that they made. What are you going to do though??

I have the same one - I have considered buying the first version, but they usually sell for very high prices. Incidentally, the two versions they made of the LM are inaccurate as they used the molds for the '95 GTRs for the first one and the molds for the '96 GTRs to make the second version. Neither year of the GTRs is exaclty the same as the LM was in real life, hence the detail differences on the diecast.

Cool attempted at a black LM. Your guess as to what it would look like is as good as anyone’s.
Does anyone have any ideas or suspicions on the graphics? Somebody in a thread a while back (sorry I forget who) made a reference to the design:

"Black top, dark grey bottom like the Ueno Clinic cars. They have bunting flag style graphics down the side in Red Blue and Yellow".

The Brunei flag is similar to the description, red crest, yellow back, but black not blue. It could well possibly be along these lines, after all the sultan has the crest on his planes etc.

yes , lynx effect , i read it , too , but if i remember correctly it seems to be #09R you're talking about.........

but if you ask me , the 2 other black lm's will look the same as #09R and #01R , it's cool to have a car painted like one of the best le mans winners , isn't it???

The description he is giving relates only to the two Black LM's - LM1 & LM4. The description for GTR #09R would simply be #59 LeMans winning replica.

The black LMs do not look like the #59 Ueno Clinic car.
