Battery Update!

Just in case you were wondering...

The battery is ridiculously tough to remove... but it's not impossible, as long as you're creative. BTW, the intake does not have to come out.

The problem comes when the nut's weld breaks because of corrosion... you just cannot get the bolt out. (If the nut is still welded on, you're fine.) You really need to work at the bracket holding the battery to the tray with a chisel (screwdriver works too) and hammer. It takes 2 sets of hands... while one chisels, the other pulls back on the battery toward the driver's side. Eventually, you'll be able to pull the battery free! We worked on it for about an hour... but it'll probably take much less time... it just took us awhile to figure out how to do it.

No need for expensive labor costs... just an ice cold beer when you're done.
