intake won't stay together!!!
This is such a stupid problem, and I was wondering if anyone might have a trick before I bring out the electrical tape. Basically my filter keeps coming disconnected from the intake tube, I put it back on, tighten it, and next week it's off again. Then I try just squeezing it in, without tightening the screw, thinking that tightening the clamp thing might actually be squeezing it out, but that didn't work either. I just don't want to resort to the lowest level of repair with a roll of tape.

Re: intake won't stay together!!!
well ever thought about replacing that screw clamp? or if not, take out the screw, and put a lock washer on it or put a nut on the other side so it wont get loose...
is there a lip on the pipe...if there is then u put the filter over it and then the clamp right behind it, not on it...that will make it not slip out. u can always put some rubber between the clamp and the filter or something in there and then tighten it for a better clamp. hehe tape will melt, trust me i think. hit up home depot...
