My LA Trip

well i m back it was a good time went to Auto Explosion and found out the guy Mark I was talking to on the phone is the same guy from Techna with the crazy prelude. We just went their to check out what they were working on. Next we went to Signal Auto. It was a pretty nice shop...not a big show room but the garage looked nice big and very organized...got to see their...I dunno...Sil eighty I think...then we went to Super VIP to look but not touch because I was too poor to buy anything. Last 2 stops were Kreative and JT Autostyle. JT had some crazyass cars they were working on. The owner had his Miata parked inside the showroom and found out that he has 2 NSX's also...a red one and a marble one. The owner showed us around at some of the cars that they had and looks like that marble paint job has quite a few fans. Later on kicked it at the La Puente mall in City of Industry and stayed the night at a friend's house in Glendale. Went to see "Along Came Polly" later on that night at the Citywalk. Got my favorite new drink, Toffee Nut frappucino at Starbucks AND got a slice of cheesecake from The Cheesecake Factory cause they sell it at Starbucks. Later on got a tour of the sights and went down Hollywood Blvd and down to where I guess a lot of celebs hang out. The only club we passed that sounded familiar was the Viper Room. Cruised through Beverly Hills and down through Burbank and then back home. So anyway, it was a good time and now I'm back. I got a few pics from Signal Auto and JT so I'll try to post them after I get them developed.

Oh yeah...and the perfect way to end the day...grocery shopping and Panda Express later on and maybe a movie from blockbuster.

Pic of damage...

Basically they had to replace the entire outer door skin, reshape back the rear quarter panel section that got dented in from the SUV's wheel, replace the door and rear section side moulding, replace the door handle (which got scraped up) and then repaint anything that had to be worked on. They also pulled out some dents in my passenger front fender that have been there for a while now, but insurance included it in their repair report when they looked at it at the shop, so that was pretty cool. All came out to about $2000 worth of repairs.

Oh dude it could have been so much worse. Any accident sucks but from the look of the picture it definitely wasn't the end of the world. Sure it will look as good as new when it's done. You'll have to post pics when you get the car back.

As for Techna, I think their site is www.teamtechna.com but it's being worked on I think. 935draggers have always had a pretty good site.
