my current project

since theres no 'vauxhall' catagory or 'calibra' in the 'opel' or 'holden', i'll have to post my ride here.
its a 1990 vauxhall calibra, 2.0i 16v 150bhp, i got it as a rolling shell. done the neccesary work to get it roadworthy, welding, new rear arches. fitted in a new engine/box, spax adjustable shocks all round, -60mm PI lowering springs, 7x17's alloys with 205/40 tyres, new zorst, 6" tail pipe, built a custom bonnet, fitted an infinity bodykit, a big rear wing. i ripped out the interior and fitted a full leather out of a better spec calibra, changed the steering wheel for a nicer one, fitted sparco ally foot pedals, a momo speherical chrome gearknob (very cold to touch on cold mornings!) fiited my choons, cd player, active crossover, two amps, sony speakers, audiobahn sub in kenwood box, loud and bassy just the way i like it!
its an ongoing project, i currently use it on the road. i've reached the stage where its nearly complete. once i get a spare weekend i shall stick it in the garage, rub it down and prep it for a fresh coat of flame red.

then i shall be selling it....

i want a firebird!

yup, i do have a very good alarm/immobiliser on this car so my nice box won't go walkies
