Its not the bulbs because they still lgiht up when i lock or luck my car. and the bulbs in the back are fine as well. When i flick the switch to the right or left my turn signal light comes on but doesnt blink. im guessin i have some electrical problem but my dealership wasnt much help...any idea what i should do?

Re: Serious Turn Signal Problem!

sounds like you have a bad flasher. its located in your fuse block under the dash there usually yellow or blue or sometimes metal do your 4 ways work??
try switching the 4 way flasher with the one for the turn signals and see if that works.

Re: Serious Turn Signal Problem!

Your 4 ways are your hazzard lights.
In some cars you have two flashers one for your 4 ways and one for your turn signals.
To find out witch one it is pull it out then you should have no lights on your turn signals and the other one for your 4 ways. your car may only have one
The flasher is a cylinder shape.
If that isn't the problem check all the sockets for your light bulbs yes even under the dash if they are dirty (badly) this can cause the problem

Re: Serious Turn Signal Problem!

I bet it's the tumbler in the turn signal lever itself. I had to have that replace on my 95 V6 before...

Re: Serious Turn Signal Problem!

u sure its not the bulbs dude.. cuz i have the same problem where he light comes on and doesnt blink but the lights for the alarm and the flashers still come on... And it is the bulb there is two bulbs in those fron lenses the easiest way to get to them is leave your headlights on in the up position and take the shrouds off and reach down and unplug the lights from there and try new ones, I bet its the same that was wrong with mine... The lenses have cracks around the outside where u cant see unless you take the whole unit out...and moisture gets in there and the bulbs burn up. So check this first cuz its the easiest and most common thing I have heard of...Good Luck

I had a simular problem and it turned out to be the socket. I had to pull the wires out and clean the contacts.

Re: Serious Turn Signal Problem!

What year car ? Make SURE you have the correct bulb in the socket! Just be cause it goes in doesn't mean it is right.... Can you see all the light flash w/ hazzards on ?

Have fun ! (I hate fixing turn signal lights, Thats why I never use Em')
