My baby. Sorry . Can't do that. But I do have a serious question for you. My idle has been acting odd. The car is at normal driving temp. It used to idle around 800-900. Now every once and while the idle will drop, sometimes it'll even stall. The way I drive it doesn't seem to change this or I just can't notice. Any ideas?

Re: Quick Dumb Question

TPS or ISC, hmm no codes though, probably just the TPS out of adjustment, or the ISC clogged up. When does it do it, just randomly or if you push the brake/ect. ?

Re: Quick Dumb Question

usually right after decell, I usually don't engine brake. Sometimes while braking but I thought the brakes might have been associated with this prob but it'll do it usually when i drop down to idle from any higher rpm.I'm confused.

Re: Quick Dumb Question

Stock BOV, or one vented to atmosphere? Sounds like the atmosphere vent problem most people have.

Thanks, I'll check that out later on today. If that's it, how much does a stock BOV run? Could you give me more details on this prob. Just a leaky BOV or what?

Re: Quick Dumb Question

I was just saying your problem (dying at stoplights and when you rev it sometimes) sounds exactly like other peoples problems when they put on some aftermarket/atmosphere vented BOV's or just have leaky stockers. A metal bosch upgraded stocker is about $40 new and should fix it, it was made for the porsche, I've covered the part number and where you can get it on a recent post here.

Re: Quick Dumb Question

Not much differance between any of those years really, 91-92 got a 10 speaker stereo system, it was also rumored they got a black interior option also. Outside was exactly the same except for the 16" 5 spokes (later became MKIV n/a rims). The big deal is the low production numbers, compared to all the other years.
