I have a friend with an '02 WRX. He recently installed an STI flywheel. Hard takeoffs are much better now but taking off during normal driving sucks. It's impossible to have a slow smooth takeoff. Will I have this problem if I install a light flywheel in a h22 accord.

Nearly every perfomance part will decrease drivablilty. Performance parts are meant for performance, not comfort. Do research on flywheel theory and youll find out about the benifits and downfalls of lightweight flywheels.

I had a lightened flywheel and a 6 puck clutch in my daily driver. You get used to it.
