Pontiac Build Sheets?

Does anyone know where I can order a build sheet by using the VIN or other information off of my 1979 Trans Am? I am restoring it to orignal and would like some history on it along with the build sheet. Thanks for you help.

You can get information from "Pontiac Historical Services", P.O. Box 884, Sterling Heights, MI 48311-0884. It cost me $25 a couple of years ago. The give you a lot of info about your car, a build sheet and production numbers for all models. The package is about two pounds.
The quality of the print is not perfect, but is very readable.

Here is the web site for the form: http://www.phs-online.com/order.asp

Have you found the build sheet under your back seat?
