Getting a Talon
Hey guys iam new to this forum and iam about to buy a 96 Talon ESi, for $2500 what do you guys, think it's got 160000 miles, iam not sure yet whats the HP on this thing stock Tourqe, etc.

2600 for a 96 with 160000 and ESi is non-turbo, I have a 93 with 150000, so it seems like high mileage to me. just check it out, If you think it runs good, and have that much to pay then buy it. oh yeah is this a manual or auto? If its manual go hard on it shifting into 2nd to see if it grinds, Talons get bad syncros.

THATS TOO MUCH $$$$$ I paid $1,700 for a 95 Tsi AWD with 87,k on it keep looking, trust me.

I agree with T4T2T, 2,500 for a car with that many miles on it is too much. You can find better.

Yeah that car has the Neon 420a 135HP engine in it, its not a bad engine but the auto trannys suck, you'll be much happier with a manual. Oh and the timing belts on those need to be reaplaced often., if you wanted a DSM (Dimond Star Moter) that wont have crank walk its a good option.
