200ft skidpad

someone please help me understand the skidpad... if say an r33 has .93g and an evo8 has .89g does this mean the 33 has better handling than the evo?

Not necessarily, it just means that in a steady state situation, it hung in there a little longer....good handling will also take into account how the car behaves with a few bumps thrown in, how well it brakes and with how much dive, what the f/r weight distribution is...and a plethora of others. A slalom course would be a slightly better indicator, laps at lime rock would be even better still...

Re: 200ft skidpad

And remember, tires make a big differance in the skidpad. If 2 identical cars were to do the skid pad with different tires, I'm sure there would be a big differance.
