anyone know how much power the stock 1st engine will hold?

people on the mx6 forums are dicks so does anyone here know how much the stock 1st gen turbo motor will handle before the stock pistons/rods/tranny will give out. i have a 90 probe gt but im not keeping the probe im putting the engine in something else.

Have you tried www.probetalk.com ? The bad thing is that you might not get the greatest response there either, but it's worth a shot. In addition, probetalk.com tends to be more technical than MX6.com.

Too bad you didn't ask about 2nd gens, I could have helped you out.

i say around 9ish psi before u need sum internal work but i dont know much about probes
