Angry car shake

I started my fiance's car this morning and the car started shaking as soon as it started. Does anybody know what that is from. MY fiance's car is a '93 sentra. thank you

Well, try to be a little more specific. Did the whole car vibrate? There could be a number of things wrong. Or it could just be that you need oil.

It could be the alternator. Might wanna have it taken in for a diagnostic to be sure.

I would tend to think its an idle thing. Do you have a tach to see what the car is idling at? It should be around 700 RPM"s for a manual transmission.

maybe his tires are so unbalanced that they still make his car shake even when it's not moving. Sorry, had to add a stupid comment.

Well theres tons of possibilities: the idle is off, plugs got wet which happens a lot to b13 sentras, catalytic converter trying to plug up, motor mount busted.

Try checking your belts, check your motor mounts, watch your tach if you have one, listen for internal knock, check your plugs wires and rotor,vacuum lines too.

Let us know what you find
