New Supercar Concept

What do you guys think of my new high end super car concept? The high luxury car would take on anything from Italy.

This is also a concept car that I came up with a few months ago. What do you think?

Lo!

Nice designs indeed, although the concept car seems to have been rather heavily influenced by the Ferrari 550 Maranello bonnet mated to the 360's front bumper. I'm sure I recognise the air intake too (Lotus Exige possibly?? Hmm....)

Keep up the good work - I take it you want (or already) work in car design?

I want to be a designer and as of now I am just self-taught. I would like a car company to notice me and send me through school and give me a job afterwards. I understand that in about every car someone can see something in the design that reminds them of another car but I draw my cars alone, I do not have anything out to look at when I draw them. If there is something that looks like another car than it is just coinsidence. I was told to make the Blue car a Cadillac so I had to use a grille that was somewhat Cadillac along with the taillights. I also used the side scultures from the Cadillac LMP racecar because I feel that Cadillac needs more of a direct line between it's race car and street car. Other than those guidelines everthing else is mine. Thank you for your comments.

Hey! You're sorta like me, right now I can't decide between bieng either a Engine Developer or a Body desgn for cars. I like engine s and have a great understanding of how they work, but I also love art and the distinct lines of supercars, but my art skills are not as strong as my mechanical knowledge.

I love those cars, what did you use to draw them?

They are hand drawn on paper and then scanned into the computer where they are colored by photoshop.

Wow, those are really, really good for hand-drawings, did you enter M/T's Design Contest?

Yes and no. I started a design for the contest last summer and entered the contest. They asked for three drawings, well since I figured that my talent wasn't up with the rest I did 7 drawings. Front, rear, front 3/4, rear 3/4, side, side cut-a-way, and in the center of the paper was my masterpiece, the 14 cylinder boxer designed engine. My concept was the 2002 Tucker with the flat 14 in the back. It was a $215,000 high luxury but fast rival to the Rolls and bentley. I had one week left so I sat down to complete it by the August 14th deadline. Well when I went to check something in the rules I noticed that the deadline was the 4th, in other words, the day before. So here it sits, and by looking at the finalists it would have done very, very well. Theres always next year.

That's just what I was wondering, "Why wasn't your name up there?" That explains it.

Yep it sucks but oh well. There is always next year when I plan to win it all. I just hope it is a good theme next year. I really liked it in 2001. Anyway thanks for the compliments.
