Second car just for fun

I currently have a '97 Jetta which I absolutely love. I am looking to keep it, but also pick up a second car just for fun. I'm looking for something I can do a good deal of things to to gain power, but I'm not looking for a complete project/restoration job. So i figure I would open it up to some other Jetta lovers for ideas.

if u like german cars u should definitely check out the M3. By the way , where did you get your grille for the jetta?
