I have a 1978 kawasaki ke175. It is a 2 stroke and a lot of fun. Sure, it's an old peice of junk that keeps breaking down but at least I don't have to worry about wrecking it in the woods.

I used to have one of those. It was a nice bike. As I remember the carb was under the side cover. I sold it and bought a Bultaco Alpina. I should of kept the Kawi. The Bultaco had a bad electrical system. I think I pushed it farther than I rode it.

Are you having problems with the Bultaco or KE 175? I don't know if I can help but what is the problem. I had to rewind the ignition coil on the Bultaco because it was shorting out. It also had points ignition which was a bear to get right. The KE had eletronic ignition which worked well.
