0-60 time 2002 SS SLP

Anyone have any links for the coupe's 0-60 time? I found one for the convertable, but that's worthless to me.

Thanks

Don't know off the top of my head, a quick yahoo search would yield the answer...

Yahoo search yields tons of junk. Including a speed test by some yahoos that wanted to compare the SS to some rice cars in a "worst case" scenerio. Automatic Convertable.

Most searches do. That's why one needs patience...

Re: 0-60 time 2002 SS SLP

http://www.alteredrealms.com/hotcars/gm_camaro_ss.html

Took me 2 minutes, 10 seconds. How hard was that??? The fact that it's a 1999 SS is moot, came up on a "2002 Camaro SS stats" search on yahoo, and the times won't differ enough to matter from the time given on the site. It's all in how you word it on what you get using a search...

Re: Re: 0-60 time 2002 SS SLP

I got that one too. But it's the 1999 and I'm looking for the 345 hp SS SLP.

I'm trying to figure out how much of a difference the 20 hp made.

I also saw the 5.2 number, but it was for the 320 hp base SS car.

Re: 0-60 time 2002 SS SLP

See previous post. Trust me, it didn't make enough difference to matter. All that was changed was the airlid and catback exhaust...

All SS's are SLP...

Re: 0-60 time 2002 SS SLP

i know a guy that workes for snap on and his ss ran high 12's to low 13's. SS's should have any where between 325 hp to 330. Keep in mind the transam's had the same motor and came with 325 horse power. I work for pontiac and i rode in a 2003 acura nsx. It was quick, but we had a 35 anaversery edition ws6 trans am and it bout pinned me in the back window. It was said to run high 12's. But if you want my apinion i think my 86 camaro 305 car will take em all. 9.48 et 8th mile.

the fourth gen f- bodies won't run a 12 stock. close but not quite. 9.48 in the 1/8th is good for about a 13.7 give or take a few

It's been done, but I've never witnessed it, nor will I ever. You've gotta have a factory beast and an awesome driver...

hypsi... hey noob here, Not calling you out but I think you 1/8 to 1/4 times are a little off. I run 8.8@ 81 and 13.7ish @102. This is at sea level. Not sure if that'd make a diff. I think 9.48 is pretty slow in th1/8 for any kind of performace vehicle. Again, not flaming, just wondered if that was a typo. I do agree that ls1 generally won't run in the 12 stock. btw my times are on the street dunlop radials, with horrendous 60 ft times.

My 1/8th mile with strret tires and pump gas are 8.8@89MPH. Major traction issues my '60 is a best 1.9 but usually 2.2-2.1. What is your 1/8th with out compensating for sea level?
