New Season?

Is anyone aware if there is gonna be a new season.... or is there an ongoing season now in Japan? After The Movie it kinda hints at another round of Initial D! It kinda sucks if they do not continue Initial D!!! Was the show canceled???

you can find info on it by searching around first I thought it was going to be a live action starring edison chang but it got dumped for now because he wanted too much money (you can still find info on this) so now it is a pay perview in japan sopose to have like 14 episodes found lots of japanese sites saying the same thing so maybe it is not just a rumer? he live action was going to be made by HK films and would have been filmed in Chinese dialog would have been chinese also so I am kinda glad it didn't come through. if they ever did make a live action it would definitly have to be filmed in Japan where the real touge is.

The recap (think Battle Stage) was aired most of January, so if you see a "4th Stage DVD" on EBay, it's only the recap, don't waste your time. The actual 4th stage hasnt been aired yet, and i'd give it a week before the fansubs come out after they have been aired... And I will have them, I guarentee it
The real question is, after 4th stage and Project D, is that it? Is it over for real? They've only finished the Evo races so far, so I'm sure Project D/Initial D hasn't ended yet

My friend special ordered it from japan. Japanese version with subtitles.

few things. subtitles will not be hardcoded into the movie, since its on pay-per-view in japan. there is no dvd coming out, of course you can make your own, but it'll be the same thing as the fan-subs episodes that come out and people will already have the episodes way before that. fansubs take at least a week to make, maybe longer, if people are lazy. in other words, show me a website to make us all shutup or your friend isn't getting it that soon.

DVD's will always come out, but the Japanese DVDs have no subtitles or any other language, only the HK DVDs. Initial D already has a strong fanbase, expect the fansubs for Stage 4 to be out in less than a week. Thankgod for IRC and BitTorrent

from team_omega's post he said he was special ordering it from japan. that is what i was reffering to. i said that the dvd's in japan will not come with english subtitles. so he'd have to wait for fan-subs. which i said will most likely take a week to be released. which anyone who has half a brain will be able to get.

didn't i said we were going to get it this week or next week. If you were reading my forums you should of seen it. Plus i had mistaken about ordering from japan. My mistake. I talked to my friend last night and he said that he ordered it from this website. I'll try to get it to prove it to you guys.
