You have to change the led's. Search 2gnt and dsmtuners for this there are a lot of threads on this. I have a couple of them bookmarked, i will post them when i get home. I think there is a write up somewhere.

Re: Boring orange interior lights

you can go to autozone and get the replacement bulbs for under 5 bucks [i think under 3 bucks, acctually]. find the lights under your dash by the doors. it is only a clear bulb with a yellow rubber, ummm, condom [for lack of a better word!!!] looking thing. i've seem places sell just the rubber things, but they are hard to find and when you can replace the whole bulbs, why not. i'll get some pics and post them up tonite. i have to get some pics of my headlights at night for somebody else so i'll get it at the same time. you can go all out and get neon light strips or an LED setup and shove them up under your dash too, if you want to go that far...

Re: Boring orange interior lights

Its more than just shoving them up under the dash though. The guage cluster is a closed unit. You have to modify it to accept the LEDs, etc. Not hard, but not easy either. I saw a LED setup and I have to admit I liked it. Far better than the glow worm gauge faces people stick on there banjaxing the gauge's accuracy in the process. Still looks stock during the day too. If I ever get tired of modding the car I may try it

You have a greater change with the LED set up to mess up your calibration since you have to take the needle off. (Unless you dont sand off the orange, i think then it will look like crap)

I would just get reverse indiglo's, A LOT LESS WORK

Yea it is the same, but they are hard because there is not that much room to work with You can also do the LED needle mod, I think this looks really sweet!!!

I saw those little colored condoms you stick on the bulb at pepeboys a couple days ago. They had orange, green and blue. I got the blue ones

I was trying to change the bulbs in the mirror also, but it was dark and i couldnt see what i was doing so ill do it in the morning. Just try opening it up somehow and check what kind of bulbs they are. Go to pep boys and check if they have colored ones or the condom thingy. I saw they had different sizes of the colored bulb condoms.....so just look around pep boys

What i did was i bought xenons of the same length and voltage as the stock ones, and i carefully stuck them in without breaking the contacts. As long as the voltage is the same as stock, it doesn't matter what type of lights you use. Oddly enough, the lights that were in my rear view weren't the same one's as any books say they should be.

SCREW THE CONDOMS...IMO, they fade and i have actually seen one start to burn. Just get the LED bulbs.

http://www.autolumination.com/ sell them and i think pep boys and autozone even do (not sure on that)

They are a little expensive but i think they are worth it.

The ones buy you feet and glove compartment are #194
The reading lamp is 3022 31mm (i think)
