Floor Still Wet!!!!

I've posted this problem before but haven't gotten a good answer. It's water for sure, not coolent. I know it's coming in from the fan intake between the hood and windsheild, but i'm trying to get a for sure way to fix this, i can't pin point the exact place it comes in, all i know is that if i run water over my windshield i can see it run down the firewall on the pass. side interior.

Re: Floor Still Wet!!!!

try www.clubgp.com

sounds like a bad seal between the windshield and weatherstripping.
or maybe a clogged drainage tube. have u taken off the black cover by the wipers adn looked in that area??

I have taken off the cover, the seal was laying down in the and I sealed that back on with that black sticky sealent. but that was a few months ago and i still have a problem, I've taken the cover off a few other times and there is no water in the fan shroud. I'm clueless

i had the same problem with my 92 gp. there is probably a break in the window seal. mine was actually missing sealant on a quarter inch on the top.

Re: Floor Still Wet!!!!

Maybe if you pull your glovebox and your fuse box cover, get a buddy to run water over your car while you watch with a flashlight, maybe you can find it then.

These problems can be a pain, but you gotta just keep after it until you get it nailed.

Good luck to you,
