What is everybodys take on adding a K&N filter to a Boxster 2.5? Much performance gains? Not tight enough filtration? Is it worth the 50 bucks or so for this vehicle? Thanks for the input!

Re: K & N filter for the Boxster?
Its only going to give you 3-5hp gain. If you want real performance you'll have to spend around 5k for a stage 3 upgrade. you can get it at www.evoms.com/p%20boxster%20main.htm/
Once you do that upgrade, I also recomend a MSD CD Ignition box, and High Performance ignition wires. you can find them at www.performanceproducts.com I have done all these upgrade on my 2001 Boxster S, and it was dynoed at 326hp. Well worth it! |

Re: K & N filter for the Boxster?
Check out BMC F1 airfilters. These are usecby ferarri in the F1 circuit. They are higher quality and won't foul you MAF like K&N filters.
