93 Ranger belt?

On the highway last night my battery light went on, power steering quit, and I had no heat. It made no odd noises or any other warning. I pulled off and got a tow. It sits now at the repair shop. I'm not very literate about such things, and would like to know what to expect when I call the mechanic in the morning. I replaced the serpentine belt sometime in the past year.
