Question Are SR doors worth the time and money?

Hey guys, I really like those scissor doors shark racing just put out, and a friend of mine cut me a check last night to order them, but I'm wondering if its worth it.

All i hear is that lambo/scissor doors compromise the structural integrity of your car. Are these doors safe enough because they're built by SR, or are they just for show? I'm still going to use my car as a daily driver, and these doors would actually be the first mod to my car. I'm sending them an e-mail, but I wanted all of your opinions on the matter.

Thanks for the comments,

-R

Looks like February is the only month they have them available for that price ($1300). I guess it depends on if YOU want to do it or not. They do look pretty cool and there's no telling what they'll raise the price to next month. I don't know about all the structural integrity issue, I guess it's possible. I'm curious to see how durable they are.

If you've got the $$$ and are willing to deal with any issues that come up, i'd say go for it!!! Post pics if you do.

Well, I would say I trust Nisco's opinion more than my own, so, yeah. Don't do it man... Just don't do it.
