power seats stuck

the power seats for my 2000 grand am gt are dead. any ideas on how to fix? help would be appreciated

The thing is, is that I'm in the military, and overseas with my car. I hope I'll be able to find a way to fix it. So yours has been this way for
months?

it has been broken for a while. for a few weeks it started working off and on and now it is off again. sounds like something is stuck when i try and move them. repeated clicking sound.

Re: power seats stuck

Seats whether power or not usually get stuck if they're not used and/or oiled. Usually I'd say move and oil power seats as often as you have time to (twice a year approx or better). They are supposed to be lubed for life but they move so slow and I just don't believe the lube moves around the parts much. But yea, use it or lose it applies very much to seats. Also check for rust.
