3.8L Supercharged V6?

k well i own a 96 sunfire and the thing is so gutless its pathetic....im sick of loosing to civics! anyways my question for you guys is:

1)Can you fit the supercharged v6 from the GTP grand prix in the engine bay?

ive heard of these in cavaliers before and i understand that it requires some fairly extensive engine bay mods along with a new tranny and other misc. stuff

2)Does anyone know where they sell the engine?

ive looked all over the internet and cant find anything...any help would be appreciated.

Hi,

No I am sorry to say that it would be impossible to fit the 3.8 under the hood due to the slope of the hood. This is why there is no V6 available anymore, they had no room to put it.

if you want more power you can supercharge your engine for WAY less than the cost of a supercharged 3.8.

hmmm....is it only due to the hood? because im sure one could manage to get a new hood or some sort?
