Re: question 101 ???

OK i dont mean to be an ass but why do you guys do up Neon's? Is it because you really like the car? Or maby its what you can afford and you want it to be as nice ans as fast as it can be?

I was just curious, never really saw the appeal of the neon's.

to each his own. i love my neon. i also have 2 mustangs 1 GT and 1 71 mach 1. myself i cannot stand porsches. I have never liked them i think they are over rated VW's. but if you like it great works for you. neons handle very well for the class they are in. they also take very well to mods. with a few bolt ons the neon will keep up with cars that cost 2 to 3 times as much and that car sports cars. i also autocross mine and have no problem beating vettes, mustangs or what ever on the autocross course.

Re: question 101 ???

if you read up on car at all you would under stand that a neon is a very good car to build up. If you got the right engine all the more better. A few mods and you will smoke mass other car in the import scene and other bigger car like mustangs.

Ok 89Turbo944
First off, why does it matter to you what we decide to make go fast? I happen to prefer the looks of a neon over that of a porche. And if you dont screw around, It's not hard to make anything go fast.
Second, why are you posting this in a thread about head swapping? come on...
And truly I've never seen a fast 80's porche, but I've seen very fast first gen neons.
