Although it's perfectly plausable for this kinda stuff to happen, I find it kinda hard to swallow. C'mon!!! I find it hard to believe that argueably the largest online auction web site (Ebay) would be associating themselves with this without at least investigating this. As long as both companies have been in business, you would think that SOMETHING would have come up before now.
And I read on a couple of newsgroups recently that this was another of those 'urban legends', of a sort. Kinda like the one where if you answer this certain email, then Bill Gates would send you some money or pants or some nonesense. I'm not TRYING to be the devil's advocate here  , but I'm just exploring all the angles here...
