I go out to the insurance auto auctions and various other auctions with non-op vehicles on a regular basis, looking for cheap cars to fix and sell, and I'm constantly looking for a parts car for my 2001 celica GT 5spd -I really want to take a 6spd trany out of one, but the real reason is because my brakes locked up on Christmas Eve and I rear-ended an old buick at 3mph. Obviously I did a lot more damage to my car than to his. What I find is that almost every Celica I look at is wrecked in the front. I'm just curious if anyone else has noticed any braking issues on the newer Celicas...

Re: Just curious...
Not to sound like an ass but it sounds like too many people like following a little too close. The braking problem is having to slam on them so hard that the tires lock. Just be a little more aware.
I appoligize if I sound like an ass but I had an accident such as that but far far far worse, and it was my fault. |
