speaker dimensions for MK4 Jetta

does anybody know the specs? like what size the woofers are, specifically...I want to put a 6 3/4" component system in each the front and the back, and crutchfield says it will only fit in the back? I'd rather not drop the cash and then have a set of speakers that doesn't fit.

Im not totally sure, but I had all 4 replaced with 6" 3/4 speakers you could probablly go a little bigger or a little smaller because the stock ones are just rivited to the door, so to get them out you have to grind the rivits and drill new holes for the new ones, im sure there is plenty of room, hope this helps

one last word dont take my word for it, I dont want to see you blow money on them either and not have them fit, check around though I had best buy install them in mine. Im sure they or any other place that sells car audio will be able to help

hey thanks for the advice! I figured they would fit, since the back speakers are actually smaller than the fronts...and these crutchfield said they would only fit in the back. which is weird. but oh well!
