won't start!!!

I have a '90 mustang lx and it won't start!
I replaced the starter and battery, had the fuel pump checked, now it will turn over but not start up. Seems like it isn't getting fuel!
Someone told me it could be the fuel sensor, but I have no idea how to check it!!
Can someone help me please????????????????????????

How did you check the fuel pump?

Re: won't start!!!

Seems like it isnt getting fuel huh? Is it out of gas? LoL. Check the Voltage to your injectors. Has anything electrical been done to the car recently? You may have a short causing high res to your injectors. But start simple, check plugs, wires, button, and cap. May not be getting fire. But then it would just flood out. You may wanna invest in a DMM or run some codes on it. Diagnosis is a headache - AKA job security for techs.

Re: won't start!!!

First thing I would do is replace the fuel relay, it's very cheap, like a few bucks. You can find it located under the drivers seat.

Turn the engine over for a few seconds and then pull the spark plugs to check for fuel. If they're damp and fumey[sp] then you're getting fuel. Also, note the condition of the spark plugs. If the fuel pump was previously faulty, you will notice signs of lean fuel conditions on the plugs.
After testing the fuel system, check if each spark plug is carrying an electrical charge.
