Laptop/PDA in car Dyno, Diagnostic programs

Hey, i have seen some things for a Laptop/PDA hookup that you install in your car, so you can plug in a Laptop or somthing like that, for diagnostics, Dynos and all sorts of stuff. Can someone tell me where to get a kit like this? that comes with the hardware and software? thanks.

well Im writing one right now for laptops, but if you stumble into a palm M105 from circuit city and spend a few pennies at www.auterraweb.com then you will have what you require - the latest version contains 'dynoscan' software

Thanks, but on the page it says 96+ vehicles, im looking for some stuff that would work with a 79 280zx

then you have to wait until I finish....but, Im only writing for GM right now...I dont know of anyone with foreign PDA based tools
