I am having intermittent starting problems. I have been working thru the gears on my tranny AND 4WD shifters while holding the key in the start position to get this vehicle to start.
Where is the neutral safety switch located? If it is in/under the console ... then how is the console removed? I have found no screws or visible hardware to hold the console in place. |

Re: 94 JGC neutral safety switch location
ok what is ur problem does it crank at all? if it does it's not the Safety neutral swtch. if it doesn't, then it coudl be the SNS (PNS), try to pull the gear shifter all the way back and then put back in park (place key in the ON position, and apply brakes, then shift) and try to start if it still doesn't work. then u may have to replace the switch. ussually this works, o yea are u getting a CHECK ENGINE light or anything that would make it something else.
anyways location of switch: it is on the driverside of the transmission. right where the shift linkage connects to the tranny. |

Re: 94 JGC neutral safety switch location
the Nuetral safety Switch is located on the driver side of the transmission, right by the shift cable lever on the tranny.
