Okay, here is a question I've been wonderin for a while now. What exactly, besides the limited production, is the difference between the SS and Z28 camaros? If you put a ram air hood and airbox on a Z-28, would you have an SS essentially? I mean, what more does the SS have that the Z-28 doesn't?

some suspension upgrades if im not mistaken. also i think there may possibly - not sure at all - be different gears in the SS

Different options including exhausts, intakes, suspension, floormats/keyfobs, portfolio documenting your SS. A converted Z28 will never have an SS build number...
