I filled the resorvoir with fluid, jacked the front end up and turned the wheels back and forth 20 times but still nothing. I cracked the line at the pump with the motor running and it only drips and does not seem to have pressure. I read somewhere that you are supposed to spin the pulley counerclockwise to bleed the pump before belting it up. I guess I'll try that. Maybe there's a huge air bubble in there or a creature from my garage?

It started working.
My stepdaughter came by today (3 days later) and the power steering is working excellent. I thought she'd have big muscular arms by now but the system has bled itself and it's working fine.
