1994 McLaren F1 Spyder "Can-Am" model

You guys ever see this model?

Probably custom in some way but different in a lot of ways (look at the nose).

It looks like it was originally a Maisto model judging by the gray stripe around the windsheild.

I like that model you made up. The Can Am thing isnt too attractive in my opinion. Only thing about yours is the scoop looks funky but I guess you would need to have it.

That is great! Much better than the model (which I found while browsing the web). The model seems a bit carried away.

The yellow car looks like it would be the primo-car king of South Beach! I really like the air scoop on your yellow car. It gives the car a much more direct link to the McLaren FOne cars. And I think if you cut the windshield down to driver's head, took out the passenger seats, and added a wing you would have the closest modern replica of a McLaren Can-Am car...

I don't think it is an actual production model. I think this guy made it himself. He has a bunch of other customized model cars. Here is his website: http://www.allanmodel.com/

The 3D computer model looks great, but the dicast model looks
a bit tacky, he has ruined the fine lines of the Mclaren F1.
