i have 1996 eagle talon tsi and i want to do an egine swap

i have 96 eagle tsi lol i drove it five times and now the engine is gone ...probably cause pushing way over 25 lbs of boost.well im asking anyone to help me out.i want to do a engine swap and i want to get a 1st gen egine will it work

yea a 6bolt model out of a Galant VR4 would work perfect, its actually a common "upgrade" for 2g owners with a 7bolt motor, as the 7bolts usually crankwalk and ruin the motor. there are ALOT of guides out there on the internet and in magazines that demonstrate the 6bolt swap and give an in debth FAQ to accomplisht he swap.

btw, what mods do u have on your car 25psi is quite a bit of boost, could be why u blew the motor if u only have driven the car 5 times.

hey jp91tsi i was actually just trying tomaybe do a 1st gen into my 2nd gen and im thinking about just trying to rebuild my motor

I know eclipse's and talon's like the back of my hand. If you want to replace your engine. Just go and get a turbo engine for a 2nd gen or get any kind of 1st gen engine. Turbo 2nd gen's and all 1st gen's have a 4g63 engine in them. So if you had a turbo you can drop any one of those in your car with no problem. Later!
