Unhappy gotta sell it

well my friends, i'm gonna have to sell my vr4. the tranny is going out i don't have the money to fix it plus i feel some other stuff going wrong also. i'll still be on here as youngvr4 and it will always be my favorite car. one day i'll by me a 99 vr4 but for now i'm gonna have to buy like a 02 or 00 camaro ss or a 95 bmw m3. i think i need to slow down street racing anyway even though the ss wouldn't help much now that i'm selling the car i see how much i really love that car i'm tryna sell it for 10,000 grand the second gear grinds when you down shift to second gear 3rd is ok now with some fresh fluid, but i took it to the mitsu dealer and a place called clutch doctors and they both said the same thing its my tranny synchro's and i'm in det right now with my mom 300 a caredit card 600 my car payments 270, and i will not be able to pay for everything that is about to happen to that car. soooo.......
find a low mileage ss or a decent amount of miles like no more than 70k for a bmw m3 95. i'll still be on this board helping yogs and skinnyguy answer 3kgt? soo just letting you guys no the bad news vr4

Sad news indeed I know you really wanted to keep her. You'll have another again someday just like you said. Love these cars! Best of luck getting a good price for your baby too

I am glad to hear that you're hanging around the board still. We can use more members like you

A used 99 VR4 is $20-30k
A new Camaro z28 is, well... $23,430.

Re: gotta sell it

yeah but he said an ss not z28, the 99 vr4 that i saw were closer to the 30k which is what a new camaro ss would cost so why not get the vr4 ?

ss on ebay 26,000 so why not shell out a few more grand for a car you really want?

The SS is an option on Z28's. It's still called the Z28 Super Sport. The 2002 lesser Z28 and the V6 camaro are $14,300-22,800 according to Consumer Guide.

Re: gotta sell it

This probably isn't really that applicable seeing as ou dont live in my area but there are about 5 Z28 SS camaros on sale for about $22K which is about 15K USD....they're all 99/00/01 models too...so you could find a nice one if you look hard enough

today i found a 2000 Z28 camaro for $12,999 with only 39k miles on it.
and a trans am 2000 for $14,999 didn't say how much mile's though.

well i owe $6,100 on my car and it has a bad tranny but i also have $2,200 in upgrades on the car including racing clutch, it has 145,000 miles on it. think i can get away with $8,999 its a 92 in good condition.
