Question speedometer problem

Hey guys I have a 1995 rs with a manual transmission and my speedometer one day just stopped working all of a sudden. Does anybody know what the problem is and if anyone does can you tell me how to fix it. Thanks guys I really appreciate any help.

if its not your fuses, pull out your guage cluster and use a volt meter to chenk the points on the back of the cluster. Ive also heard of a way to not put miles on your car if anyone is interested.

hey man, I've had the same proplem with my car but it's not an eclipse, it's a civic, but here's what I did, i went to a junk yard and pull out the speedometer of the same car type and installed in my car and it works fine.

So you changed the whole gauge cluster, so you changed the mileage on your car also???

gear

I've had the same problem - and found it was the plastic ring gear on the trans diff had popped off. Though i repaired it, and had the same problem 2k miles later... Is this some manuf. flaw??
