Need 735IA repair manual

Hello.... I'm looking for a '86 735IA repair manual, book or cd. Workshop manual or what ever I can find withthe most info as far as specs, diags, procedures, etc. I'm located in Australia but would pay for shipping from anywhere. Thanks, Dave [email protected]

Oops. You asked for a repair manual, not an owner's manual. Someone might send you an owner's manual but I doubt they'd send you a repair manual free. Anyway, there's lots of help on that site but you'll have to register-like this site.

Amazon.com sells repair manuals-don't know how good they are. Also, you might try ebay.

Re: Need 735IA repair manual

I'm willing to pay, just want to make sure I get the proper manual for repairs and specs covering the 735IA 85/86 model. Not sure what to get or where to get it. Thanks, Dave

This link might be helpful: http://bmwe32.student.utwente.nl/

These guys reviewed several manuals and posted their thoughts about them.

As far as getting the right manual, I think if you get the right year and model, you're in good shape.

Bentley's Publishing at http://tech.bentleypublishers.com/forum.jspa?forumID=66 prints fairly extensive books for some BMWs. I have their book for E32 BMWs, which are 7-series cars from 1988-1994 and I can tell you that it is very good. However, I didn't see a book for your year/model on the website but you might want to look for yourself.

Hey Dave, I live in south Australia ( Adelaide ) and have a 735i ( 1986 ), if you are succesful in getting a repair manual let me know as I have a question that no one can answer, ( must be an unknown fault with no answer ), my transmission is playing up, when you turn the key to start, no park light on the dash, select drive, no light on the dash, only has 1st gear, wiggle shift stick, "bang" we have light on dash and all gears. We have changed the stick shift sensor but no luck, the problem is erratic and is frustrating..... any thoughts?

Regards
