s13??sr20det??
i was thinking swapping to a sr20det i can get a sr20det from a s13 for 1,500 motor and tranny. what else would i need and this is going into a s14 96. where can i get the rest of parts for the swap needed and will there be any problem wif being a s14 using s13 motor?

You will need the entire wiring harness from the engine to the CPU for sure. You will need an intercooler, unless the engine came with it. You will need the ECU from the s13 as the plugs on the ECUs are different.
Other than that the SR SHOULD go in relatively easily. I guess there is a coolant line issue that has been overcome easily before etc. The stickies at the top have a lot of good info, so I would look there before you jump in feet first. Mark

Get a front clip it is much easier to install cause you have everything you need and you don't need to worry about missing parts
