Drivers side window not working 95 Rodeo

I just purchased my 95 Isuzu Rodeo and the Drivers side window is not working. I took the door panel off and found that power is going to the motor, so the motor is malfunctioning. How do I take the motor out and put a new one in? It seems to be connected to the regulator...

find a salvage yard in your area. Drive in and pick and pull.

i fixed it myself for a mere 35$ total when the Isuzu place estimated a cost of the parts alone to be $200...

you have to take the door panel off and then unscreww the motor which is mounted onto the regulator...

then replace the motor and put everything back together...

altogether it took about 45 mintues...make sure to check your motor before putting everything back together by plugging it in and testing it...

Re: Drivers side window not working 95 Rodeo

Ok, so back to the question... What part and how exactly did you do it. In mine, the plastic poece that the window wire rides on is broken. Does anyone know where to find just this item??? Also, how does the wire attach to the window? Any tricks of the trade would be appreciated...

That's my problem, too, cheekbn. I'm wondering if I could use some type of epoxy to fix it.

Re: Drivers side window not working 95 Rodeo

surfer... I would think that you could, but it would depend on the extent of the damage to the plastic piece. Mine is totally destroyed, thus the delima. I hate to pay for the full set up, but will if i have to...
