Turn signal problem

I have a '00 Astro. The left turn signal will not work unless I play with it. The right one works fine. I'm told that I need to replace it. All the other functions in the lever work fine-cruise, hi-beam, wiper blades. What does it take to replace the lever, is it hard and are there any tricks to doing it?

Re: Turn signal problem

those switches are a pain in the ass to change! if you get the correct torx bit you can remove the rear bolt by turning the bit with a 1/4" wrench other than that no tricks just lots of back pain and bleeding knuckles. untape and follow the wires down once the switch part is removed there is a 2wire connector above the brake pedal and a bigger one you need to unbolt. have fun!!!
