XTANT subs and amp

i recently got my hands on 2 brand new XTANT x1244 subs...the hex shaped ones and an XTANT x603 amp at a hell of a deal....I have never heard these before but for what i've seen them in the stores for i couldnt pass it up.......I was jsut wondering if any of you have these or have heard these in a good setup.......I'm trying to decide whether to keep or sell

I've heard OF them, but I haven't heard them. You should just hook it all up and see how you like it.

problem is they are going to go in the king cab portion of my truck and its $500 to build the custom enclosures....im not sure if i want to do that....i guess if it sound bad i could sell those and buy some type r's or jl's

i'd say keep the amp and get some new subs jl r really good!!!

Yeah looks is just about all the Xtant subs have going for them. HiFi Buys had a blow out sale and they had buy one get one free on the Xtant subs and i had JL's at the time and the guys there were like naw dont get these cuz they only hit so hard untill they start to majorly distort....but i dunno never heard one before........

They kick ass! I have two of their 10"s in my Max and it pounds like crazy. The Xtant 603 I've put in system running 2 sets of seperates and 3 JL 12W3's off the one amp. Xtant is considered one of the best high end amps on the market. It's a specialty brand so few places carry it unlike Sony which everyone carries

Well any sub will only "hit so hard" untill there is distortion... every woofer and amp combination is differant! Sure if you hookup your XTANT subs to a Legcay amp w/ the gain cranked past 3/4 of course its going to sound poopy!
